Julie Tinkelman

Born and raised in Southern California, Julie received her Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Therapy with honors, from Mount St. Mary's University in Los Angeles. She owned a successful PT practice in Los Angeles prior to moving to Clarks Summit in 2001. Julie and her husband Scott moved to northeast PA as they were starting their family and are happy to call the Abingtons their home. Julie was excited to bring Body Dynamic, and particularly Pilates-based rehabilitation, to Clarks Summit in January 2009. She received her comprehensive Pilates training and certification, is a PMA certified Pilates instructor and has been utilizing the Pilates method as part of the rehabilitation process for patients since 2000. While Julie has benefited from working in a variety of PT settings throughout the last 28 years, she has found a passion working with oncology patients throughout treatment and into survivorship.

Ariana Brutico

Ariana graduated from Abington Heights High School in 1998, after which she attended Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. In 2003, she graduated from Russell Sage College/Sage Graduate College with a combined Bachelors/Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. Upon graduation, Ariana headed West to Seattle, WA, where she lived and worked as a PT for five years before returning home to Northeast PA. She has practiced in a number of settings including acute and home care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and outpatient. Ariana thoroughly enjoys spending one-on-one time with patients at Body Dynamic to provide hands-on treatment and Pilates-based exercise.

Donna Sokolowski

A native of Scranton, Donna earned her degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Scranton in 1985. She has always practiced in the region, in a variety of settings including acute, transitional, long term, and home health care. Her main focus for over 30 years has been in outpatient services, treating a variety of conditions including orthopedic, post surgical, joint replacement, neurological, chronic pain, as well as work, trauma, and sports related injuries. Donna has a special interest in the treatment of osteoporosis, and also dizziness and balance disorders. Donna comes to Body Dynamic with a background in dance and martial arts, incorporating principles from these arts into her practice. She also feels that the Pilates training which she has received at BD has significantly enhanced all aspects in the care and recovery of her patients. Donna is a firm believer in the one on one mode of care provided at BD, affording the opportunity to fully understand the needs of each individual in creating customized exercise programs and instruction in injury prevention.

Joan E. Kuzma

Joan E. received her Associates Degree in Applied Physical Therapy in 1990 from Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale, Virginia. She has a passion for health and wellness and enjoys helping her patients at BD achieve their goals. Additional specialties that Joan E. utilizes - she is comprehensively trained in Pilates with Body Arts and Science International. She is an Oncology Rehabilitation Specialist, a certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner and a Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.

Kerri McHale

Kerri is a life-long resident of NEPA and has over 24 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in multiple clinical settings; however her favorite place to be is Body Dynamic! The success rate for improved overall mobility, pain, and dysfunction in her patient's at BD far exceeds expectations due, in part, to the modalities offered, the relaxed atmosphere clinical setting, and the Pilates-based rehab emphasis. Kerri is a CrossFit level 1 certified coach and often brings in her knowledge of Olympic and power based lifting techniques as well as full body conditioning principles to help rehab her patients. She is also NASM certified as a nutrition coach and can help you reach your weight-loss or sport specific nutrition goals.

Amy Begley

Amy was an elementary school teacher when she took her first yoga class and instantly fell in love with yoga. It has been over 20 years and she is still practicing and teaching yoga.

While teaching at Body Dynamic Amy was introduced to Pilates and a second love was born. Amy received her Pilates certification through BASI (Body Arts & Science International) in 2015. Since then Amy has been sharing her passion for yoga and Pilates.
